Youth Sports
The Cardinals defeated the Rangers in the Southlake Baseball Association’s Pony division championship game to win their league this season.
Team members include Chase Pensom, Kelly McKellar, Andrew Phifer, Zach Hernandez, Thomas Price, Max Burkett, Jake Anderson, Hunter Romer, Matt Spuria, Drew Hindes, Carson Griffith and Jake Newman.
The team is coached by Monty McKellar, David Spuria and Keith Pensom.
NTA Comes Up Big at Tourney
Six students from NTA Taekwondo at Lifetime Fitness in Colleyville recently competed in an All-Star Championship Taekwondo tournament, where the team brought home a total of 12 medals, including six gold, five silver and one bronze.
Dragons Win Grapevine Tournaments
The Southlake Dragons 6U baseball team won the recent Grapevine tournament, finishing the competition with a perfect 5-0 record.
Team members include Tyler Lundblade, Ryan Pehrson, Alex Gonzales, Drew Barnhart, Ben Bergstrom, R.J. Mickens, Trennor O’Donnell, Blake Smith, Cade Manning, Joe Glassey and Dillon Springer.
Scott O’Donnell, Jay Gonzales, Rob Smith and J.B. Manning coach the Dragons.
Star Dragons Win Lake Worth Shootout
The 10U Star Dragons baseball team defeated the Bad Boyz baseball club in the USSSA Lake Worth Shootout tournament series, winning the finale 3-2.
Team members include Cade Ward, Kayson Smith, Calvin Cahill, Mick Cerny, Jason DeGroote, C.J. Foster, Reagan Rainwater, Kyle Hochstrate, Ryan Robinson, Ryan Doyle and Eric Mysliwiec.
Steve Robinson, Carlos Rainwater and Kevin Smith coach the team.
