Belles Bring Home Trophies

The Emerald Belles took home some impressive hardware last month at the Marching Auxiliaries Line Camp.

The Carroll Senior High School Emerald Belles received an Outstanding Home Routine plaque, a spirit stick and a Grand Champion trophy for their last performance. The camp took place June 15-17 at the Marriott Hotel in Fort Worth.

In addition, 18 Emerald Belles were named to the All-Star Honor Roll for their leadership, talent and attitude. The Belles are under the direction of Melissa Page, assisted by Kathryn Dobrow.

Making the list were: Emily Giffin, Kristen Mabry, Elise Townsend, Laura Pearson, Chandler Carlson, Emily Baughman, Hannah Mason, Danielle Gagnon, Celine Mojica, Anna Tye, Andrea Rivas, Chelsea Williams, Carolyn Dawson, Corinne Lorence, Caroline Scott, Whitney Phillips, Courtney Park, Olivia McMillen and Rachel Campbell.

Four Emerald Belles placed in the Solo Division of the Marching Auxiliaries camp as well.

Giffin won first place, West Hardin and Laura Pearson got first runner-up, and Carolyn Dawson was third runner-up.
