JUNE 17: 8:32 a.m., a home under construction in the 2100 block of North Carroll Avenue was burglarized. The loss included a pedestal sink in a box, hanging lights, refrigerator and gas range [$10,150 total], plus damage to a dishwasher, microwave, two outside light fixtures and a coffee machine [$3,300 total].

8:45 a.m., an employee at a home in the 1800 block of Lantana Court told the employer that another employee stole $1,000 from the residence.

11:57 a.m., 6:49 p.m., police were called twice to 24-Hour Fitness, 301 N. Nolen, to investigate vehicle burglaries, in which cash and credit card numbers were stolen. Transactions totaling $13,200 were made with the numbers.

JUNE 17-22: Police arrested two men, ages 32 and 55, for driving while intoxicated on North Carroll Avenue and West Southlake Boulevard, respectively. A Southlake man, 18, was arrested on Texas 114 for a minor driving under the influence of alcohol.

JUNE 18: 6 p.m., a pharmacist at CVS, 100 E. Southlake Blvd., told police that a male juvenile was attempting to fill a forged prescription. The teen was arrested.

JUNE 19: 1:55 p.m., a resident in the 1300 block of Oakhurst reported that an ID thief had stolen $20,000 from a bank account accessed by the Internet.

7:40 p.m., a male thief used a magnetic key to steal three MP3 players and four digital cameras [$606.12 total] from the Radio Shack at 2140 E. Southlake Blvd.

JUNE 20: 6:26 p.m., police were called to a vehicle burglary at Carroll Senior High, 1501 W. Southlake Blvd., in which a rear window was smashed, and a purse [$400] and camera [$200] were stolen. Another vehicle incident was reported at 6:52 p.m. at the school, in which a thief stole a wallet [$20], containing a driver’s license, debit card and $200 cash. The thief had reached through a partially opened window.

JUNE 21: 11:14 a.m., a burglar smashed a door’s glass to enter Pro Tailor, 2707 E. Southlake Blvd., and stole a cash register which contained $200 cash and credit card receipts. The register, still containing many receipts, was found that evening along the same roadway five blocks away.

JUNE 22: 4:36 p.m., a Keller resident reported that an ID thief had made purchases in Southlake at Lowe’s [$336.10], Home Depot [$431.92], Tom Thumb [$131.76] and CVS [$42.10]. It was discovered that purchases also were made in Mansfield, Grapevine and North Richland Hills.
