APRIL 27: 11 p.m., police arrested an Irving man, 20, in the 2900 block of Texas 114 for possession of marijuana and a controlled substance, Xanax.
APRIL 28: 3:47 p.m., a man in the 900 block of Brittney reported that someone damaged his mailbox [$400]. Police also found another damaged mailbox in the neighborhood.
APRIL 29: 2 p.m., a school resource officer at Carroll Middle School, 1101 E. Dove, turned three male students, cited for possession of a controlled substance, over to their parents. The officer had received a tip about a student selling drugs on campus.
APRIL 30: 9:32 a.m., police were called to a house being built in the 2100 block of Camden Circle, where thieves had stolen roofing materials [$4,185.50], including shingles, felt, vents and spray paint.
MAY 1: 1:25 p.m., a employees at a Southlake business reported that someone keyed several vehicles parked in a lot in the 1400 block of East Southlake Boulevard.
MAY 2: 11:09 a.m., a woman at Carroll Senior High, 1501 W. Southlake, told police that a thief stolen an Apple iPod [$350] and case [$50] from her purse at the school.
4:20 p.m., a resident in the 600 block of Heather Glenn reported that someone stole a ring [$4,500] from the home.
MAY 3: 8:35 a.m., police on patrol spotted four damaged mailboxes near the 1600 block of Regal Oaks. Damage to one of the mailboxes was estimated at $200.
6:24 p.m., police wrote tickets to five teens as minors consuming alcohol in a home in the 1300 block of Village Green. Police, who released the juveniles to their parents, said this was another teen drinking party when parents were away.
APRIL 28, MAY 4: Police arrested a Carrollton man, 35, and a Mesquite woman, 25, for driving while intoxicated. The man was arrested at 2:10 a.m. on April 28 in the 1400 block of East Southlake Boulevard; the woman at 11:41 p.m. on May 4 in the 1100 block of East Southlake.
