May 16-23 - A Book Drive, "United Through Reading," is under way at Carroll Senior High, Carroll High, Carroll Middle, Rockenbaugh Elementary and Johnson Elementary. New children’s books are being collected.

May 16-18 - Stars Theater Company presents the melodrama, Never Trust a City Slicker, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. on Sunday in the theater, 1970 E. Dove. For information, call 817-421-2883.
